- We are in the process of restoring and rearranging all of the senior class panoramic pictures in the front of the school.
The pictures are damaged by years of sunlight and Mr. Benedict moved them onto the brick wall away from the sun to protect from further damage.
Former Brazoswood counselor Glenn Campbell was gracious enough to lend us many of the panoramic years in mint condition to reproduce the photos.
We have those completed and they are ready to be framed.
Thanks to a great idea from Ronnie Barnes, the panoramic pictures will be hung in clusters by decade and other pictures and memorabilia will be added.
If you happen to have a panoramic in mint condition for the following years or might know someone who graduated in these years that might have one, we would like to borrow them and make copies.

Parents and high school students will soon have a chance
to learn more about the Brazosport College-Brazosport ISD
Dual Credit Program.
Over 500 BISD students are currently enrolled at
Brazosport College, taking classes that apply both to
their high school diploma ant to their future college
degrees.
“Many families have found that this is a great way for
their young people to get acclimated to college while
still in high school; it also helps students finish
college faster, saving on tuition costs,” said Susan
Phillips, the shared counselor for Brazosport College and
BISD. “We also have scholarships and grants available to
assist students with financial need.”
For further information call Mrs. Phillips at (979)730-7300,
ext. 29115, or Patti Trahan at ext. 29121.
Parents may now log in to
Parent
Connect to check student grades and attendance. Parents must sign up for this. (Directions are here!) If you are not the parent of record, you will be on a waiting list to be approved. (If you wait for long, email the webmaster for advice on this.) You will be able to add all of your students in BISD to one login. Once you gain access, you can set triggers so that you will be notified of low averages, absences or such. Be aware that many teachers only enter grades once per week. If you have a question about why your student made a particular grade, the first person to ask would be your student. Teacher email addresses are available from the Academic link, under the appropriate department. It is our hope that improved communication with parents will improve student performance and grades. We hope both you and your students will keep an eye on their grades.
Don't have a computer or Internet to check this? You can check it at the library.
