At 5:00 p.m. on October 29th, the school with the most points will receive $1,000.00. The second place school will receive $750.00 and the third place school will receive $500.00. NOTES FOR THE 2010 - 2011 SCHOOL YEAR: 1. All new residents to the Ney attendance area may register their children beginning August 12th for the 2010 - 2011 school year. Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. 2. “Meet the Teacher Day” will be held in the afternoon on Thursday, August 19, 2010. (12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.) The first day of classes will be Monday, August 23, 2010. 3. If for some reason you cannot come meet your child’s teacher on August 19th, please call the Ney school office at 730-7190 to confirm their enrollment for the year. 4. PTO will have pre-packaged school supplies and Ney t-shirts for sale on Meet the Teacher Day. 5. Save the date for grade level orientations: Kindergarten August 31, 2010 4:30 p.m. 1st Grade September 2, 2010 4:30 p.m. 2nd Grade September 2, 2010 5:30 p.m. 3rd Grade September 9, 2010 4:30 p.m. 4th Grade September 7, 2010 4:30 p.m. 6. October 12, 2010 – PTO meeting and Open House – 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
